Lauren Lowry

Lauren Lowry has been with Karam Law since 2020. She has always been interested in learning about different cultures and became particularly interested in immigration law after the Latin American studies classes she took in undergrad, some of which involved volunteering with the local immigrant population.

Lauren graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2022 with an Immigration Concentration. During school, she was a certified student attorney in the Federal Immigration Litigation Clinic of the James H. Binger Center for New Americans, president of the Minnesota Justice Foundation, and a student instructor for Civil Rights Civil Liberties Moot Court. During her time in the Federal Immigration Litigation clinic, Lauren wrote and filed a petition for writ of certiorari before the Supreme Court. Before law school, Lauren graduated with distinction from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where she received degrees in Marketing, Entrepreneurial Management, and Spanish. Lauren is admitted to the Minnesota bar and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Her pro bono work includes helping Afghan refugees apply for asylum here in the United States.
